First Chinese BBQ: Not-a-Review

This afternoon Erin asked what I was doing for dinner. I think my response was, "I haven't thought that far." She suggested Chinese food, something I rarely turn down. We went to her favorite Chinese restaurant in Austin - First Chinese BBQ. Located in Austin's Chinatown, which I wrote a little about in this post, First Chinese BBQ offers traditional Chinese cuisine at reasonable prices. (According to its website. I haven't been to China, so I wouldn't know what's traditional and what isn't.) We shared the BBQ pork and wonton noodle soup, the BBQ pork and roast duck on rice, and the crispy chicken with lemongrass. It was fantastic, though the entire restaurant seems to have never heard of knives.

I learned that, according to the Chinese calendar, I am a Sheep:

"Elegant and creative, you are timid and prefer anonymity. You are most compatible with Boars and Rabbits but never the Ox."

Erin and I both received actual fortunes, and she says she always gets fortunes from First Chinese BBQ. Lucky!
Erin's: "You will soon find more adventure in life."
[I love this - Erin is all about adventure, and she has made travel her One Big Thing for 2011. Click the link to visit her blog and read more about it.]

Mine: "Your sports team will be very successful this year."
